You do not have to replace the entire drive, heck, you cant replace the daughterboard, you must fix it if it is broken. please see more information on our ps4 bluray repair here

Good company. I had the misfortune of having a burnt renesas chip they caught before sending out and ended up refunding due to not being able to fix it. They offered to take on a challenging procedure with no guarantee due to the chips damage, but I refused. I’d definitely come back to this company for any other issues, they double check everything. Even though things didn’t work out as expected they were happy to help and explain anything I had questions about.
